The ritual happens when the dual moons eclipse. Escape is the only option, but Akrist was never taught to hunt or survive the wastelands alone. Time is running out, and he has to do something before the moons touch.

My opinions-*

Under the lesser moon was a very thrilling read, as it had so many timelines and they were written well.

The book starts with the childhood of the main characters, gives a brief background about him, and then we jump into the story. The story was so heartbreaking and the characters were so uniquely written.

The story follows the Akrist who is the main character, who is outcast due to him being born as a daeson. Because of that he has to go through a lot, the whole story I was like how can people be so cruel to a child who is supposedly daeson,and they are bad because of something that has happened in the past. The first arc of the book deals with childhood and a way for akrist to escape his fate. 

In the second half the book is Akrist trying to save daesons like him. The story arcs are well crafted and set up for the next book, so well.

Can’t wait to read the next book, so much to know about this world.
